For the first time in Grimey`s history we have decided to divide our spring/summer collection into two separate drops, The first drop we proudly introduce after a time period full of uncertainty and dark horizons that have created a change in inertia which has made everything much more difficult.
This has not kept us from putting all of our passion into it and the results is what we bring you. GRIMEY SPRING 2021 is divided into 4 capsules in which we continue to pay attention to details and offer novelties as usual. We continue to fight the tendency to follow already set patterns and in this first drop we are certain that we have made a leap in a totally new direction but never loosing our spirit.
STRANGE FRUIT FEVER
This capsule is born out of the “Strange Fruit” poetic concept. The mythical song that is a symbol of the lynching’s suffered by black Americans, written in 1939 but still to this day is far from being an echo of a time that has passed, it is still very present in this era that we are presently living.
Transforming that Sour crop into a vindictive culture full of colors, prints and mixing symbology with the abstract. Strange Fruit Ever is without a doubt one of our most open and ambiguous pieces in regards to style. Brushstrokes that evoke that old school street wear coexist in total harmony with the scent and freshness of today`s tendencies.
A new Tracksuit concept with detachable hoodie and sleeves gives way to sweaters, cotton shorts and track pants, long sleeve shirts, cut and sew, mesh and even a new material “home textile” for one of the sets.
LIVEUTION
Magic for the resistance. Graphic concepts inspire by the occult, the strength of the spirit and the human evolution in this hard times that we live in.
